the party...

happy birthday truman and aunt christen
we got home early enough to have a party.  truman had requested a pinyata so we brought one all the way from houston, and of course the mickey cake that we ordered before our arrival, and presents.  it's especially good when you are the birthday boy and you inform everyone that since it is your birthday you get most of the candy from said pinyata, even though your mother tried to explain that that's not really how it works and when you invite people to your party you are suppose to let them have the candy.  the perks of turning five, i guess.  *note i am writing this post a year late and the boy still talks and tells everyone about how he had his birthday at disney world, and how he is moving to florida when he is a dad (destin specifically but, sighting that is close to disney world), and he and aunt christen are constantly trying to  figure out how to get to a disney park.

disney world day three - the animal kingdom...

Today the Animal Kingdom.  I love this park, it's a nice change from Magic Kingdom.  Still some of our favorite rides expedition everest, and kali river rapids, but lots of cool animals to mix it up too (even the little primate that wasn't so sure he liked Atticus :).  I'm pretty sure they have my favorite food in this park too, lunch and dinner where both awesome, plus lunch with all the characters in safari was super fun!  And they even closed early enough for us to get home and have a birthday party...
